Jaxon Love, an MBA student at the University of Oregon, shares his experiences working for Shorenstein Realty Services as an Environmental Defense Fund (EDF) Climate Corps Fellow. Shorenstein strives to be an innovator in the area of green real estate management. Jaxon discusses the company’s Green Lease Guide, a tool used by Shorenstein property and asset managers to incorporate sustainability principals into the contractual agreement between owner and lessee. He also shares insights from Shorenstein’s “Flip the Switch” tenant engagement program, which targets building occupant behavior change by providing sustainability information and resources to tenants.
