There will be periods of silence, solitude, reflection and wisdom-sharing. The Eucharist and Lectio Divina will be offered. A new DVD series Death, Dying & The Mystery of God with Fr. Thomas Keating, two years in the making, will be shown for the first time publicly.

Gail Fitzpatrick-Hopler is president of Contemplative Outreach, Ltd., a worldwide network of individuals and small groups committed to living the contemplative life in contemporary society. Gail is an international speaker and retreat director, and along with Fr. Thomas Keating, she is a founding member of Contemplative Outreach. Gail serves as a writer and contributing editor of the Contemplative Life Program, a series of study and practice books on contemplative life in community offered by Contemplative Outreach.

Fr. Carl Arico is a founding member and the vice president of Contemplative Outreach, Ltd. He has traveled extensively to present workshops and direct retreats for both priests and laypeople. Since 1984 he has been an integral part of the organization’s growth and development and is dedicated to ensuring the legacy of Fr. Thomas Keating. Fr. Arico has practiced Centering Prayer since 1975 and taught prayer since 1978. “The growth that has taken place in Contemplative Outreach,” he observes, “is a miracle of God’s grace and the power of prayer.”
