Russell Delman: Embodied Life Winter RetreatTHE EMBODIED LIFE ™: Remembering Essential Self
Open to the public Coming to the end of the year is a time of reflection. We can step back, review the past, set sights on the future and reorient the "GPS" of our life-path. Zen master Shunryu Suzuki Roshi said "the most important thing is to find the most important thing". How easy it can be to forget "the most important thing" in the push and pull of everyday life. Feeling lost in our most immediate demands, we can forget that which we deeply value. Essential Self refers to the quality of connectedness to Life in which you sense yourself as undeniably whole, complete, authentic and in line with your life-path. When this connectedness is remembered, even our challenging situations feel somehow 'right' and necessary. We stop fighting with "what is" and relate more intimately with the present moment.
I hope you will join me for three days of meditation, movement, somatic practices and conversations into the most important thing. Please check www.russelldelman.com for more information, to download various writings and to watch a short video about The Embodied Life.
