An Evening with Philip Glass: A Concert to Benefit the Garrison Institute

Photo by Nate BinzenA longtime friend and supporter of the Garrison Institute, Philip Glass will perform his works in a rare Hudson Valley concert appearance.  Composer/pianist Trevor Gureckis and vocalist Tara Hugo also perform Glass’s settings of texts by Allen Ginsberg, Leonard Cohen and others. The Garrison Institute is delighted to celebrate the 75th birthday season of one of America’s most esteemed composers with a very special performance in the Institute’s geothermally cooled main hall.

  • $150 Preferred Seating 
  • $50 general admission 
  • $25 student with ID  
We are near capacity for tickets sales for this concert as of 5pm Friday, July 13th. Online sales are closed at this time. 
We will only be taking phone sales starting Monday morning, July 16th at 9am on a first come, first serve basis. Call 845-424-4800 for more information.

This concert is sold out. If you wish to be placed on a waiting list in case tickets become available through cancellations, please email your name and ticket request (quantity and price) to registrar@garrisoninstitute.org. We will contact you if tickets become available. No phone calls for waiting list, please.

Doors open at 6:30 pm; concert begins at 7:00 pm. Free shuttle available from Metro North Garrison train station (arrivals 6:18 and 6:39 pm, departure immediately after the concert).
