Philip Glass. Photo by Fernando AcevesPhilip Glass, a longtime friend and supporter of the Garrison Institute, performs in a rare concert appearance in the Hudson Valley, also featuring the US premiere of his Three Songs of Milarepa with baritone Gregory Purnhagen.

The Garrison Institute is delighted to celebrate the 75th birthday season of one of America’s most esteemed composers with a very special performance in the Institute’s geothermally cooled main hall.

Tickets:

  • $150 Preferred Seating, which includes a private post-concert VIP champagne and dessert reception with the artists
  • $50 general admission
  • $25 with student ID

Doors open at 6:30 pm; concert begins at 7:00 pm. Free shuttle available from Metro North Garrison train station (arrivals 6:18 and 6:39 pm, departure immediately after concert).
