Tibetan Students ConferenceBy invitation A gathering for students in North America of Tibetan ancestry sponsored by the Office of Tibet. The office is the official presence of H.H. the Dalai Lama to the Americas. The purpose of the conference is to help young people of Tibetan ancestry stay connected to their Tibetan and Buddhist heritage.
"It is great that so many from the younger generation of the Tibetan-Himalayan community took interest in their own culture. The way it works is first, there is learning. Second, there is contemplation. Third, there is practice and having the learning become a part of your life. And lastly, there is dedication… you dedicate your life to the benefit of all beings." - Gelek Rimpoche
