Food & Water, An Evening Talk and Dinner About Sustainability, April 14

We hope you’ll join us for “Food and Water,” an evening talk and meal focused on sustainability in our region, Thursday, April 14, 7-10 pm, sponsored by Hudson Valley caterer Fresh Company, Beacon Institute for Rivers and Estuaries and the Garrison Institute. It is said that our environmental future depends upon our ability to live sustainably, yet as a community we tend to take sustenance for granted. Food and water flow in abundance in some parts of the world, while they trickle in others. The evening is a chance to reflect upon the most fundamental of human needs, with a conversation with John Cronin, director and CEO of Beacon Institute, and a seasonal buffet prepared by Fresh Company featuring local ingredients and sustainable seafood.
