This special retreat will focus on learning how to meditate, and include talks, sitting and walking meditation, yoga, guided meditation, group discussion, and optional one-on-one interviews with a meditation instructor. The classic meditation technique, mindfulness/awareness or cultivating inner stillness, will be the focus of the weekend. All levels of experience are welcome to attend.

Centering Prayer is about transferring the will to the heart; it might be called the practice of “Heartfulness.”
Twining Vines Annual weekend retreat. This is an opportunity for us to spend a few days in silence together, with traditional daily Zen practice of seated and walking meditation, working together, Dharma talks, and chanting service.
This 3-day retreat will include a variety of contemplative practices that support self-soothing, including guided somatic meditations, dharma talks, relational exercises, and movement techniques. There will be multiple opportunities to ask questions of teachers, as well as times set aside to explore the beautiful hiking trails surrounding the retreat center.
