A limited number of Hemera Contemplative Fellowships are available in support of this program. For more information, please refer here.
A limited number of partial scholarships are available for those with financial need. For more information, please refer here.
This special retreat will focus on learning how to meditate, and include talks, sitting and walking meditation, yoga, guided meditation, and group discussion. The classic meditation technique, mindfulness/awareness or cultivating inner stillness, will be the focus of the weekend.
The program will appeal to new meditators as well as those with a developed practice or those simply seeking renewal in the serenity of a contemplative environment. Participants will receive a free copy of Chögyam Trungpa’s book, Mindfulness in Action. Talks and guided meditations will be derived in part from the book.
Our caterer, Fresh Company, will prepare healthy, delicious vegetarian meals, featuring locally grown and produced ingredients.
Please Note: This retreat will be held in partial silence.
