Garrison Institute Fellow Offering: Healing Trauma in the Here and Now with Kasey Crown
Please Join us on Thursday, December 3rd at 7pm for this virtual workshop Healing Trauma in the Here and Now: Harnessing the power of our creativity for collective healing with integrative psychotherapist and wellness educator Kasey Crown for a virtual Garrison Institute workshop exploring the neuro-biological, social, ecological and spiritual impact of traumatic injury and adverse conditioning. Here, she will illuminate how the healing of one’s trauma is in fact an act of social and ecological justice; an imperative that paradoxically requires our thoughtful attention and urgent action.
Drawing from the fields of interpersonal neurobiology, integrative and spiritual psychology, energy medicine and contemplative wisdom, Kasey will take participants on a beautiful and enriching journey of discovery, weaving the spiritual with the scientific to unearth a complex understanding of the Interconnected Self. With an emphasis on integrating conscious insights derived through practices of presence, intention, attention, awareness and action, this workshop will aid us in learning to balance divisive inner and outer polarities while offering a creative and evolutionary framework for healing that can be incorporated into a variety of contemplative practices.
For more than a decade, Kasey has served as a facilitator of the healing process for adult individuals, couples and groups working to upend trauma, transform emotional injury, repair relationship and unlock vital wisdom to connect people with who they truly are. Her psycho-spiritual and relational approach aims to inspire collective healing and contribute to a more compassionate and harmonious world.
