The Garrison Institute Forum: Pathways to Planetary Health- Tony Hiss and Jonathan F. P. Rose

On Thursday, May 13 at 2:00pm EDT, we continue The Garrison Institute Forum on Pathways to Planetary Health with a conversation between Tony Hiss and Jonathan F.P. Rose, Co-Founder of the Garrison Institute.

These interactive sessions aim to expand our understanding around how each of us can play a role in supporting a regenerative, just and prosperous world, nurturing the health and well-being of all of life.

Tony will also introduce us to his latest work: Rescuing the Planet: Protecting Half the Land to Heal the Earth now available for pre-order here as featured in Publisher’s Weekly here, and the New York Times here.

This live webinar will be conducted on Zoom at 2pm EDT on Thursday, May 13. The webinar link will be emailed to participants within twenty-four hours of registration.

Speakers:

Tony Hiss is the author of fifteen books, including the award-winning The Experience of Place. He was a staff writer at The New Yorker for more than thirty years, a visiting scholar at New York University for twenty-five years, and has lectured around the world. He lives with his wife, the writer Lois Metzger, in New York City.


Jonathan F.P. Rose’s
business, public policy, and not-for-profit work focus on creating a more environmentally, socially, and economically responsible world. Jonathan and his wife Diana Calthorpe Rose are the co-founders of the Garrison Institute. He serves on its Board and leads its Pathways to Planetary Health program.
