Webinar: “The Healing Power of Connection: Mindfulness for Birth & Parenting” with MaryEsther Malloy
We parent in a society with a strong go-it-alone ethos. But our children are wired for closeness and connection. They need it like air. They need it like food. And so do we. Join birth and parenting expert Mary Esther Malloy to explore how mindfulness can nurture our capacity to stay in close with our babies and children, especially when the days (and nights!) are challenging.
This live webinar will be conducted on Zoom at 3pm EDT on Thursday September 17th. The webinar link will be emailed to participants within twenty-four hours of your registration. Registration for this live webinar closes at 2pm EDT on September 17th. Please note that participation in the live webinar on Zoom is limited to the first 1,000 attendees. We will also be live-streaming this program on our Youtube.

Mary Esther Malloy founded Mindful Birth NY in New York City in 2004. Since then, she has offered thousands of families an expansive, holistic approach to childbirth and parenting. She believes that a deep engagement with mindfulness for birth and parenting can be an upstream intervention with the potential to interrupt the transgenerational passage of pain. Mary Esther is honored to have welcomed over 2000 families to her childbirth classes in New York City. She has attended over 500 labors as a doula, and more than 1,000 parents have participated in her Mindful Parenting Talk Groups. Mary Esther publishes regularly about mindfulness, birth, and parenting in journals, magazines and blogs. She holds a M.A. in Anthropology from New York University, and trained with Nancy Bardacke, author of Mindful Birthing, and founder of The Mindfulness-Based Childbirth and Parenting Foundation.
