SUMMARY:Exploring Neuro-Epigenetic Breathwork with Sajeeva Hurtado
DESCRIPTION:A Virtual Conversation with Sajeeva Hurtado \n  \nJoin us for a reflective and engaging online conversation exploring the intersection of science\, embodiment\, and spiritual practice through the lens of neuroepigeneitcs. Hosted by Dr. Angel Acosta and featuring Sajeeva Hurtado\, this webinar will explore how intentional breathing practices can support nervous system regulation\, deepen embodied awareness\, and open new pathways for personal and collective transformation. \nDrawing from neuroscience\, epigenetics\, somatic practice\, and contemplative traditions\, Sajeeva’s work invites us to understand breath as more than a relaxation tool. Breath becomes a bridge between body and mind\, biology and meaning\, helping us move out of habitual stress patterns and into greater coherence and presence. \n  \n\nWhat You’ll Learn\n\nExplore how conscious breathing influences the nervous system and supports greater regulation\, resilience\, and clarity.\nLearn how internal states—such as attention\, emotion\, and breath—shape our lived experience and can support holistic well-being over time.\nReflect on how breath can serve as a practical meeting point between scientific insight and spiritual inquiry\, supporting both inner transformation and meaningful engagement with the world.\n\n  \n\nWhy Attend\nThis webinar offers a unique opportunity to experience a thoughtful dialogue between two practitioners working at the intersection of contemplative wisdom\, embodied practice\, and modern science. Whether you are curious about how science and spirituality can inform one another\, or you are seeking accessible practices to deepen your own embodied awareness\, this conversation will offer insight\, reflection\, and practical takeaways. \n  \n***The Zoom link will be emailed within 24 hours of signing up***** \n\n  \nSPEAKERS\n \nSajeeva Hurtado is a Colombian breathwork guide\, speaker\, and creator of the Neuro-Epigenetic Breathing methodology\, an integrative approach that combines nervous system science\, somatic practice\, breathwork\, and contemplative inquiry to support emotional regulation\, embodiment\, and personal transformation. Drawing from studies in Chinese medicine\, movement\, neuroplasticity\, and epigenetics\, her work explores the relationship between breath\, trauma\, identity\, creativity\, and human potential. Through workshops\, retreats\, online programs\, and large-scale guided experiences\, she has accompanied thousands of people in processes related to anxiety\, self-connection\, nervous system regulation\, and expanded states of awareness\, while making complex scientific and spiritual concepts accessible through grounded\, experiential practice. \n  \n  \n \nDr. Angel Acosta is a visionary educator\, scholar\, and facilitator\, leading efforts at the intersection of healing-centered education\, contemplative practice\, and leadership development. As the director of the Garrison Institute Fellowship\, Dr. Acosta is dedicated to nurturing a global community of change-makers. \n  \n  \n  \n  \n
