Hemera Healthcare Fellowship Scholarship

Hemera’s Contemplative Fellowships provide financial support for professionals to attend meditation retreats at Garrison Institute. Meditation retreats provide a supportive training environment in which individuals can cultivate mindfulness, compassion, and personal well-being, qualities which can extend into their professional lives and improve workplace culture. Hemera currently provides Contemplative Fellowships for health care professionals and Pre-K to 12 educators. You can read more about Hemera at www.hemera.org.

  • 50% Baseline + Needs-Based Funding – for individuals who have previously attended at least one meditation retreat longer than a weekend.

Please note: If you are awarded a fellowship, you have 3 weeks to accept or refuse. We’d also ask that you tell us why if you decide not to accept. Thank you.

Part of the long-term vision of the Hemera Contemplative Fellowships for Health Care Professionals Program is to build a community of fellows, both online and in person. By applying for a Hemera Fellowship, you agree to allow your contact information to be shared with the Hemera Foundation, and, if you are awarded a fellowship, to fill out a survey about your retreat experience and the impact it has on your life and work.
