Welcome to the participant webpage for the Contemplative Resilience Tools for Social Change Makers six-week course. This live, virtual offering brings together social change makers from 14 non-profit organizations.

Drawing from elements of the Garrison Institute’s Contemplative-Based Resilience (CBR) Project and from Sharon Salzberg’s most recent book, Real Change: Mindfulness to Heal Ourselves and the World, this course invites you to strengthen your resilience and deepen awareness, balance, and connection in your work and lives.

Each week there will be a corresponding Participant Course Journal to serve as a supplemental resource for the Workshops and Cohort Coaching sessions. This webpage will be updated each Monday to include the corresponding Participant Course Journal for that week.  We  highly recommend you have  the corresponding Participant Course Journal available to you each time we meet. You may print out the Journal to make direct notes, or open in Adobe to type notes directly into the document.

Although not required for the course, Real Change: Mindfulness to Heal Ourselves and the World serves as a nice supplement to the course.

If you have any questions, please email CBRProject@garrisoninstitute.org.
