A CHRISTIAN MEDITATION RETREAT
Come experience Christian Contemplative practices that enable connection with God
and embodiment of His word during this overnight retreat.
This Christian Meditation retreat will explore various ancient and modern contemplative practices aimed at increasing connection with God and embodiment of His Word. Participants will prayerfully select a Biblical passage to focus on throughout the retreat.
Specific practices experienced at the retreat include breathing meditation, contemplative and centering prayer, memorization of Biblical text, walking meditation, visualization among others. Everyone from beginners to more experienced meditators are encouraged to join! We will also enjoy a dinner on Saturday and a breakfast on Sunday followed by a worship service to conclude the retreat.
