Cynthia Grguric, LMHC, Ph.D.
Dr. Cynthia Grguric, a LMHC and International Psychologist who has lived and worked internationally in Korea, Japan, Germany, Italy, and Britain providing consulting for the U.S. military on issues of separation, cross-cultural adjustment, stress management, work-life balance, relationship issues, and pre-post deployment resiliency. Dr Grguric specializes in international trauma and humanitarian staff care with certificates in International Trauma Studies, Forced Migration and Asylum, Justice Rapid Response Training, Employee Assistance Specialist, Skills for Psychological Recovery, Critical Incident Stress Management, Strategies for Trauma Awareness and in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dr Cynthia has provided consultation for humanitarian workers throughout the world on the ABC’s of Resilience, cultural adjustments, compassion fatigue, work-life balance, resiliency in post conflict, stress management, and frequent traveling/family separation. Cynthia provided onsite support for USAID and US Embassy staff in Conakry, Guinea in response to the Ebola crisis and in Kampala, Uganda for Foreign Service Nations escaping South Sudan on stress management and resilience.
