Dr. Danielle McCamey (DNP, ACNP-BC, FAAN, FAANP, FCCP, FADLN) is a board-certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of nursing experience and over a decade in advanced practice, with clinical expertise in perianesthesia, palliative, and critical care. She serves as Associate Dean for Clinical Partnerships and Innovation and Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland School of Nursing.
Her work focuses on advancing nursing workforce development and diversity through academic–practice partnerships, clinical education infrastructure, and system-level innovation. She is the Founder and CEO of DNPs of Color, a national nonprofit organization advancing leadership, mentorship, and opportunity for DNP-prepared nurses and future DNPs of color.
