Dr. Emma Kaywin supports Garrison Institute’s development activities, inclusive of drafting grant applications and connecting with potential funders. They have 15 years of experience writing winning proposals at the foundation, city, state, and federal levels and have raised millions for programs close to their heart, spanning LGBTQIA+ health and wellbeing, education, justice, and more. When they aren’t writing grants, they teach at the graduate level at institutions including Columbia University, CUNY School of Public Health & Health Policy, and Teachers College. They hold an MA and EdD in health education from Teachers College, Columbia University.
