Mary Lambert has over 20 years experience advancing community resilience and sustainability across local government, as well as for non-profit, corporate, and philanthropic sectors. She has held senior leadership roles at Google, Volta Charging and the Weeden Foundation, was the Founder of an award-winning online ecomarketplace, and previously led her own marketing consultancy, Closed Loop Consultants.
Most recently, Ms. Lambert served as Climate Action Planning Manager at the Hudson Valley Regional Council (HVRC), where she supported local communities in climate mitigation and adaptation planning and managed HVRC’s Landfill Biofilters Project, leveraging biofilters to mitigate methane emissions on landfills in the Mid-Hudson region. She previously served on the Hastings-on-Hudson Board of Trustees, as Co-Chair of the Hastings Climate Smart Communities Task Force, and as a member of the Hastings Conservation Commission.
Mary has lived in the Village of Hastings-on-Hudson for over 20 years with her husband Nils and their three daughters. She is deeply committed to helping Mid-Hudson communities build resilience and believes that mitigating and adapting to climate change is the defining challenge of our generation. She holds a Master of Business Administration from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree in American Studies from Yale University.
