Regina Scarbrough, MBA, CMT-P (she/her), is a higher education advocate, creative space holder, and NYS Trauma-Informed Care instructor committed to cultivating beloved community and healing-centered care. As an EOP counselor she integrates evidence based practices to support student growth and well-being. An avid life-long learner and student of various contemplative traditions, including music and creative arts, she is a Beat the Odds®: Social & Emotional Skill Building facilitator; Level II certified Compassion-Based Resilience Program (CBRT®) teacher and certified in Mental Health First Aid with focus in higher education and adult populations. A graduate of the Garrison Institute 2023-2024 BIPOC Intergenerational Justice and Healing Fellowship (BIJaH), a program that trains and supports emerging leaders in their aspirations for contemplative social action and community-building work, she is honored to serve as a volunteer and community member. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in American Studies and Media & Communications from SUNY Old Westbury; Masters of Business Administration (MBA), Townsend School of Business, and post-graduate certifications in Contemplative Psychotherapy; Mindfulness; Compassion, and Embodied Psychosocial Change.
