Sarina Saturn, PhD, is a Chamoru and Indian neuroscientist advancing contemplative, healing-centered approaches to trauma, grief, and sustainable service. She is an educator and facilitator specializing in the neuroscience of traumatic stress, healing, compassion, and prosocial emotions, and offers continuing education and trainings focused on secondary trauma, burnout, and resilience for helping professionals in high-exposure fields.
She is a former professor at multiple institutions, a community scientist in public health, and a nonprofit leader, bringing a cross-sector perspective to her work. Grounded in a commitment to equity and collective care, Dr. Saturn has extensive experience supporting BIPOC, 2SLGBTQ+, immigrant, and feminist communities. She integrates neuroscience with contemplative and relational practices to help educators, healthcare providers, advocates, and leaders cultivate resilience, restore capacity, and sustain meaningful engagement in their work.
