The Many Voices Fund will provide scholarships for our in-person and virtual retreats to individuals from underserved communities, with the majority of available funds designated for Black, Indigenous, and people of color.

Your donation will help us provide a place of retreat and reflection for all. We invite you to make a contribution online, or to contact us at for other giving options.

One of the most powerful truths about contemplation is that you can practice anywhere: at home or on the subway, by yourself or in community. And yet, there is something undeniably special about going on retreat. We have heard over and over from our retreatants that participating in a retreat at the Garrison Institute is a unique and transformative experience.

Research shows that contemplative practices promote well-being and support positive social transformation for both individuals and communities. We want to make sure that this experience is accessible for all, regardless of financial need. We are also committed to supporting the next generation of contemplative practitioners and leaders, and we recognize that for many emerging voices, retreats are cost-prohibitive.

We always welcome the opportunity to discuss how we can better promote diversity and inclusion in our programming. For more information or to speak further, please contact us at
