Please note: There are a limited number of scholarships available for those with financial need.

Open to anyone seeking financial assistance for eligible Garrison Institute retreats or workshops. General scholarships are awarded based on financial need.

General scholarships are supported by the generosity of our funders and our community of donors.

The Angell Foundation

The Angell Foundation invests in transformative opportunities, cultivates compassionate leaders, and partners with organizations committed to creating a more equitable world. We fund high-impact efforts that effect change in three main issue areas: Education As Opportunity, Food Equity, and Transformational Leadership. Thanks to the generous support of the Angell Foundation, we are able to offer a limited number of partial scholarships for certain Garrison Institute generated retreats and workshops. We are currently accepting scholarship applications for the following programs:

  • Norman Fischer and Ruth Ozeki: The World Could Be Otherwise: Imagination and the Bodhisattva Path
  • His Eminence Gyalwa Dokhampa: Retreat on Tara: The Wish-Fulfilling Buddha
  • Sharon Salzberg and the Holistic Life Foundation: People Who Care for People
