The Garrison Institute offers several ongoing programs a part of our commitment to the local community, and in order to make contemplative practice and our space accessible.

 

JOIN US FOR MEDITATION.

A free sitting meditation session is held on most Wednesday mornings from 8:30-9:15am followed by tea and discussion. The format includes mindfulness meditation and a reading. Meditation instruction is also available upon request. Both those with an established practice and beginners are most welcome. For more information, contact Amy Ma at amy@garrisoninstitute.org. 

Join us for TAI CHI.

Tai chi classes with instructor Teresa Peppard are ongoing on Thursday mornings at 9am. The cost is $10 per class. Click here to email Teresa Peppard.

Garrison Institute Writer’s circle.

A free, collaborative, and contemplative workshop that meets once monthly on Wednesday evening from 6:30-8:30. The format includes time for meditation, reflection, writing, and sharing.
